I absolute LOVE basic shape punches and dies – even more so if the dies have a stitched edge. In the New Annual Catalogue, Stampin’ Up! introduced the Stitched Triangle dies and I absolutely adore them! Recently, a friend of mine decorated her daughter’s bedroom by masking triangles across a feature wall and using shades of pink and grey. It looks amazing and gave me inspiration for this card.
To make this, I cut out a lot of varying sizes of triangles in three colours – Petal Pink, Blushing Bridge & Smoky Slate, then brought them together like a jigsaw. The aim of the jigsaw was to avoid having two of the same colour next to one another.
I then added this jigsaw onto a Smoky Slate matt and then onto a Whisper White card base. For a bit of contrast, I added a ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment heat embossed in white on Basic Black, offset to the right.
It’s amazing where inspiration can come from!
Best Wishes,
Suzanne

Love this card. Now I’m going to have to order the triangles. I didnt think I needed them before seeing this. 😉
Basic shapes are a must, haha! They fit so nicely together in a card like this too – didn’t take me long at all to put this together 🙂
