Gather your friends and get essential products at discount!

Very Vintage Box

This box was very much inspired by the Very Vintage Birthday card I posted a week or so ago. I loved the pattern that I stamped so much, I chose to duplicate it but this time onto a small box – which could include a small treat for the recipient of the card as part of a set? Either way, the pattern is beautiful and the bees are just adorable.

For this box, I didn’t want to add any sentiment, as I wanted the background stamping to be the centre of attention. Instead, I chose to fussy cut two bees to give the box some layers and well, because I think they’re cute and it gave me any excuse to use them.

The box would happily fit in some small sweeties, or a beauty product such as nail varnish or lip gloss and of course, can be recreated in any colours you choose.

Let me know how you get on!

Best Wishes,
Suzanne

Christmas Takeout Box

Awwww, how cute is this little box? I’m absolutely in love with the takeout dies, they’re so dinky and so easy to put together. I can see these being used for my work colleagues come Christmas time as the production line needed for multiples will be easy peasy.

Another new item in the Autumn / Winter catalogue which instantly drew my eye is the Santa’s Workshop Speciality Designer Series Paper (DSP). The paper has flocking on it, which feels furry(?) on the paper. If you look carefully on the project image, you may just see the textural difference.

Whilst a dinky size, the box can fit sweet treats in and the stamp set gives you the opportunity to use these for Halloween.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I am!

Best Wishes,
Suzanne

Frosted Floral Card

All of my favourite things on one card.. Purple, Frosted Florals DSP & glimmer paper! I’ve already gushed about this paper on previous posts of mine, but it just continues to wow me. The paper takes all the attention meaning you can keep your cards and projects simple, which is what I have done.

I was so pleased when Blackberry Bliss made a return during the colour refresh, it has always been one of my favourite colour (so much so, I didn’t get rid of my old ink pads when it retired!). One of my favourite colour combinations is purple and gold, so I took full advantage in using those colours for this card.

I’m sure you’ll agree that the colours look amazing together and the pearl sheen on the paper just makes it even more beautiful to look at!

Best Wishes,
Suzanne

Frosted Floral Box

O M G! The new Autumn / Winter 2018 Catalogue has some of the most gorgeous suites and this one has to be my own personal highlight. When looking at the Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the catalogue or online, you do not see the sheer beauty of this paper series. If there’s any paper series that you love so much that you don’t want to cut into it, then it’s this one. The picture below shows you the sheer beauty of the paper with its pearlescent shine.

Gorgeous, isn’t it? Because of its sheer beauty, I wanted to showcase the paper so that it took centre stage, rather than cutting it into small pieces and using as card fronts. This box is a good size measuring 4″ x 7″ and a lovely 2″ deep. The decoration is simplistic, ensuring the focus remains on the paper. Some of the new cord has been added, which in my opinion is better than any of the cords Stampin’ Up! have previously had.

The sentiment may as well be speaking about the paper, but of course, can be about the intended recipient! Absolutely gorgeous!

Best Wishes,
Suzanne
