Mini Wine Bottle Wrap

20181011_090240916_iOS.jpg

Ahh, so it’s coming to that time of year when you’re starting to contemplate Bonfire Night, Christmas, Halloween.. Perhaps you’ve already received invites to parties around those times and are wondering what to do for gifts etc? This is a quick idea which can work for all occasions.

The wrap I have made suits a miniature bottle of wine and rather than being circular, wraps around the bottle in a hexagon style shape allowing panels of Designer Series Paper (DSP) to be displayed beautifully. To follow the shape of the bottle, the top edges are scored  and held with a vanilla twine bow.

To finish it off, I used a sentiment from the Treat Time stamp set and some bling in the form of Rhinestones – GORGEOUS!

Let me know how you get on with yours.

Best Wishes,
Suzanne

Rainbow Thanks!

20181004_095936681_iOS.jpg

I can sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow too. Rainbows are pretty and are one of my upline’s favourite things. Each month, myself and other members of the team are rewarded for our achievements – be this a title promotion or hitting a sales target. This card was my thanks for those rewards and to show my appreciation.

For this, I combined a series of colours from the Brights & 2018-2020 In Colour DSP stacks to create both the background on the card and as part of the oval for the sentiment. The sentiment itself is hand stamped using the Lined Alphabet stamp set, where I chose to keep it simple with just the outlines finished with Wink of Stella.

I’m really pleased with the finished product and only hope the recipient is too.

Best Wishes,
Suzanne

Many Merry Thanks

How gorgeous is the deer on this card? I couldn’t wait to use it when I first opened the stamp set but wasn’t sure what to do with it. Doing my usual browsing of Pinterest and other craft forums, I came across a card from a fellow demo Karen McClure using the Dashing Along Designer Series Paper (DSP). Unfortunately, the Dashing Along DSP was only available for a limited time as part of an offer in September, so I decided to make my own interpretation with products still available in the current catalogues.

Combining tone on tone with the beautiful die cut from the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies is absolutely gorgeous and I think everyone would agree that the combination of Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake suits the festive season perfectly.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the deer?

Best Wishes,
Suzanne

Floral & Black Bag

So we’re halfway into October now, the leaves are turning on the trees & Autumn is well and truly setting in. But for those of you who don’t enjoy this time of year, don’t despair. This little bag has a gorgeous flowery pattern to help bring some brightness to your day.

I chose to team mine with a black theme as I love the two cords currently available. And the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set has the most gorgeous sentiments in it with beautiful fonts. You just can’t help making a project to suit the sentiment.

Do you like it? I really hope you do.

Best Wishes,
Suzanne

Candy Canes Everywhere!

20180930_161200451_iOS.jpg

Am I too early to be showing so much Christmas? Have any of you started your Christmas shopping yet? Or are you one of those who leave everything until Christmas Eve and do it last minute? Christmas is one of my favourite times of year, I love the lights, the glitter, the food – of course! And I absolutely LOVE gifting Christmas treats to my work colleagues, candy canes are a staple amongst those treats.

The Candy Cane paper from the Santa’s Workshop pack alongside the Candy Cane Season bundle are brilliant together. They make life easy for you and putting them together is as easy as pie. For an extra bit of glitz, I added some glimmer to mine as well as a doilie.

Let me know if you’re a fan of Christmas or if you’ve made any Christmassy projects.

Best Wishes,
Suzanne
