Pull Toys Love

They’re back – the cute little animals from the Baby Pull Toys stamp set are back. It doesn’t take long for me to reach for this stamp set again and again, it’s almost addictive! You have to admit that the little animals are the cutest things ever, and they’re so easy to colour in with Stampin’ Blends.

I took inspiration from the Mini Catalogue and stamped all three animals in a row to form a gorgeous little train. I chose to colour these ones with blends using an assortment of different colours. In my Facebook live yesterday, I put together a baby girl version of the box using Blushing Bridge – but you could of course make this box from any colour (although I personally love the subtles!)

The box is so simple to put together and has the most adorable finish to it. What colour would you choose to make it in?

Best Wishes,
Suzanne

You are Amazing!

Here’s a card to show that you don’t always need to throw the kitchen sink at a project to make it pretty. Paper, stamps and ink are all you need (and on this occasion, a punch too!). I didn’t purposely set out to make this card so simple, my aim was to showcase the ‘Oh So Ombre’ paper that you can earn for free during Sale-a-Bration and I reached for the ‘You are Amazing’ stamp set, which is quickly becoming a firm favourite of mine!

Rococo Rose is a colour I haven’t used as often as I should have, so of the four colours available in the paper stack, I chose that one and paired it up with a matching card base. I felt the paper was a little lost when directly on the card stock, so added a matt layer of Whisper White.

The cute little hearts on the bottom half of the card were made with a new punch available in the Mini Catalogue. I love the size of them! Very easy to mass produce and the sentiment can be changed to suit the occasion.

Which colour would you use?

Best Wishes,
Suzanne

Berry Best!

Every now and then you need a teeny tiny project to come into your life and remind you that they’re just as cute as their large project counterparts. My inspiration for this cute little clutch bag-esque design was from Angelina over at Intatwyne Designs who made a very similar project a few years ago now.

Using the Berry Delights FREE goodies earned from the Sale-a-Bration Catalogue, I used both the paper and the stamp set to bring together the project. Using the key colours of Granny Apple Green and Poppy Parade, and a new gorgeous punch from the Mini Catalogue. .

This close up picture shows you the beautiful detail of the paper and shows that even though it’s a free product, the quality is still the same high standard.

Which Sale-a-Bration items will you be choosing?

Best Wishes,
Suzanne

Fabulous Year Older

Excited doesn’t even come close – yesterday the new Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalogue for January to June 2021 launched – eek! So in true fashion, today’s project features new product. But this new product isn’t available to just anyone, oh no. The Designer Series Paper shown on the exterior of this box is part of an amazing gift to anyone who joins Stampin’ Up! during Sale-a-Bration. You can read more about this by clicking the button below!

The paper used is Crushed Curry from the Regals collection, but in my video I used Granny Apple Green which is from the Brights Family. Both of them are gorgeous colours to showcase this paper. I kept my box simple, as I want the DSP to really be shown off and take centre stage. With ab bit of white edging, I’m sure you would agree that the pattern of the paper really makes the box look fabulous!

Of course, to finish the box I have used one of my fave stamp sets from the new Mini Catalogue / Sale-a-Bration brochures called ‘Approaching Perfection’. The sentiments are just perfect and I find myself reaching for them again and again, as the jokey nature of the sentiments are my style all over.

Which colour do you prefer from the two showcased? If I made a third box – what colour would you like to see me use?

Best Wishes,
Suzanne

Pull Toy Congrats

This is a warning – this stamp set may appear so many times between January and June that I might just annoy you a little with it! I’ve already got two projects lined up in January and more on the way!

But, just look at how cute this little elephant is? He was the first stamp that I used from my demonstrator pre-order, I simply stamped him and went from there. He’s coloured with blends in this project – Grey Granite and Balmy Blue to be exact. To allow him to pop off the card, he’s been fussy cut and popped on dimensionals.

I don’t have anyone to gift this card to just yet, but it’s a perfect one to have ready in my card stash if / when a baby boy is born.

Best Wishes,
Suzanne
