Annual Catalogue, blends, cards, colouring, heat embossing

You’re out of this world!

Eeeeek – how darn cute is this card? Now I’ll be honest, this card first grabbed my youngest son’s attention before it did mine. He is absolutely mad about anything to do with space – rockets, the planets, stars etc. But when you look at it, how can you not add it to your shopping basket?

Now for this particular card, I promised my son that I would make it so that the astronaut was based on him, but there is also the option for a little girl too (oh and don’t forget the dog!). I chose to colour mine in with blends, then fussy cut them. I’d had an idea for background in my head that was just rhinestones as stars, but I changed my mind and use the star stamp in the set with some heat embossing for a gorgeous starry sky.

I did add some rhinestones into the final design, which I think give it that twinkle that you associate with stars. Finished with a heat embossed sentiment and some beautiful silver cord and it all comes together to make a beautiful card. Love it!

Did you see this set in the catalogue, if yes what have you made with it?

Best Wishes,
